Should India Declare Cow National Animal

The Government of India has recently suggested and implemented ban on illegal slaughtering of animals in order to uplift the poor farmers of India.
In the nation full of diversity it was very obvious to witness strong oppose against ban since many people of minority community and few from majority eats beef.
Opposing the government and their views is certainly not a bad thing if you are making a peaceful protest without harming public property but recently in few places shameful incidents happened.
These kind of incidents should be prevented at any cost to maintain peace and harmony.
Yesterday in Kerala few members of Indian National Congress shown a very strange and disgusting way of protest by killing a cow on road and later they circulated the video on social media to provoke the sentiments of majority of this country.
These kind of protest may result in huge loss of human lives but few people got encouraged after the incident because state government of Kerala didn't take any legal action against accused  and these people started beef festivals in entire south India.
I will ask a question for all beaf eaters can you all can eat your mother's meat? Cow is mother for us (HINDUS) remember it. Nonsense protests and riots may be daily affair in Kerala. Communist don't try to implement it in rest of India.
The one who brutally killed the cow is nothing but a cold blooded murderer. We won't let Kerala terror on cow come in rest of India.

If horse slaughter can be banned in United States in respect of Christian and cultural traditions of theirs, why can't cow slaughter be banned in India!
One last question for Indian National Congress "Sonia Gandhi's youth congress members in Kerala have protested cow slaughter ban by killing cow, i am just very curious to know how she will protest of Prostitution Ban?
